TALENTS/ARTS PROGRAMME

We actively and carefully organize learning experiences for students to enable them to reach their imaginative and creative potential. Teachers guide learners to successfully achieve required competencies in visual literacy. In Express visual ideas with confidence and competence doing so,students are empowered to become autonomous, informed and skilled visual art participants, cultural producers, and artists.

NORMAL CLASS TUITION

Our community  depends on its generations. Future generations depend on efforts from fore generations. A successful community depends on responsible and proud citizens, which depends on a community of good morale and values. 

Today's children are leaders for tomorrow. It is important to educate children and enable them to make a strong contribution to the ongoing needs of their community.This philosophy nurtures the values of a strong community.

Curriculum

The curriculum is made up of the following subjects

• Language Skills: Luo, Swahili, and English
• Mathematics
•Science
• Social Studies
• Arts/Craft
Extra curricula activities

  • Drama, music, and dance

  • Luo oral literature and Traditions

  • Out door activities (ball games)

VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME

We do run individual and team camps volunteer programmes that runs between 2-3 weeks and are a great way to travel to Kenya, experience African culture, and help the children directly.  Visit the  volunteer button at the top of the website for more details.

    Extended Volunteering:  If you would like to volunteer for an extended period of time (More than three weeks, outside of the work camp), please send an e-mail

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

The Career Counselling programme enable students to:

  • Explore and value the diversity of the careers across time, place and cultures

  • Develop visual literacy practicing perceptual, sensory-motor, and analytical skills

  • Become informed, reflective and critical practitioners in the career field

  • Understand the dynamic and changing nature of the job market

  • Enjoy lifelong participation and engagement with the job

  • Create artwork that is influenced by personal and cultural contexts

  • Become critical observers and producers of visual culture and media

  • Develop skills, techniques and multimedia processes in order to communicate concepts and ideas.

H.E.L.P.I.N.G PROGRAMME

By Providing Hope, Education,  Love and Protection through Inspiration Goals (HELPING) programme, we aim to support young orphans at SEC  to respond positively and enjoy their basic needs.  Through your Donation, the children at the centre is being provided with the basic learning requirements like

 

  • Complete School Uniform (EUR 20 yearly)

  • Feeding programme (EUR 20 per month per child

  • Text books and stationeries (EUR 40 per year)
